Louie's used 3/5 of a can of tuna in the afternoon and 1/4 of that can in the evening at the end of the day how much of the can was left

    In order to solve this, find the common denominator and then create equivalent fractions. Then add these two fractions together. This represents how much was used. Then subtract from one. This represents how much is left.

    Hint: The common denominator is 20.
