A group of hens laid the same number of eggs each day for a week. Kelly collected the eggs for six days. Write an expression to show the number of eggs Kelly did not collect.

    Number of eggs=6x

    Its that simple equation, because if hens laid the same number of eggs each day (and we dont know how much per day, so I put x instead of it) but we know that Kelly collected the eggs for six days we can put there 6.

    Finally we obtainted number of eggs = 6*x
