Latisha needs 60 square feet of cloth. She has a rectangular piece of cloth that measures 3 feet by 9 feet, and a square piece that measures 5 feet on a side. Does she have enough cloth? If not, how much more does she need?

    9 X 3 = 27. 5 X 5 - 25. 27 + 25 = 52. 60 - 52 - 8. Latisha needs 8 more square feet of cloth.
