    1) 100cm2 - (2cm x 2cm)

    =100cm2 - 4cm2

    =96cm2

    2)

    A) 1/3

    60p x 3 = £1.80

    B) 10/45

    1mm x 4.5 = 4.5 mm

    1/4.5 = 10/45
