What is the LCD of 4x^2y and 6xy^4

    4x^2y = 8x^2y the LCM 8x^2y & 6xy^4

    LCM of 8 & 6 is 8 x 3 = 24

    LCM of x & x^2 = x^2

    LCM of y & y^4 = y^

    thus the LCM is 24x^2y^4
