    Find the disatnces from

    A to B

    from B to C

    from C to D

    fom D to A

    AB, (2,2) to (2,6)

    notice x didn't change

    from 2 to 6 is 4

    AB=4

    BC, (2,6) to (8,6)

    notice y didn't change

    from 2 to 8 is 6

    BC=6

    CD, (8,6) to (8,2)

    notice x didn't change

    from 6 to 2 is distance of 2

    CD=2

    DA, (8,2) and (2,2)

    notice y didn't change

    from 8 to 2 is distance of 6

    DA=6

    AB+BC+CD+DA=

    4+6+4+6=

    10+10=

    20

    20 units

    each is 9 yards legtngh

    20*9=180

    180 yards needed
