    Let the first angle be A and the second be B.

    Complementary angles add up to 90° so:

    A + B = 90

    We are also told:

    A = 6 + 3B; substituting this into the first equation:

    6 + 3B + B = 90

    B = 21°

    A = 6 + 3 (21)

    A = 69°
