    The answer is

    y^2-4x+4y-4=y^2+4y-4x-4 = (y+2) ²-4x - 8 = 0

    it is the same of x + 2 = (1/4) (y+2) ²

    the main formula is x-h = a (y-k) ² so h=-2, k = - 2 and a=1/4
