If 2 rectangles are divided in equal parts and 1/3of 1 is shaded and 1/4of the other is shaded. what is the least number of parts into wich both could be divided into

    Think of it as pie one is split into thirds and one split into fourths then combine them so you should have a pie split into sixths shade two of spaces (representing the one 1/3 and 1/4 so you should have 4/6 spaces left (2/3 left and 3/4 left) and boom your answer your welcom

    I believe it's 12 parts? Because 1 third would be 4/12 and 1 fourth would be 3/12.
