    Let be x and x + 2 two consecutive odd integers;

    You have the equation : x = 12 + (x + 2) / 3;

    (3x) / 3 = 36 / 3 + (x + 2) / 3;

    (3x) / 3 = (38 + x) / 3;

    3x = 38 + x;

    2x = 38;

    x = 19;

    The numbers are 19 and 21.
