    26-4s=9s

    ⇔26=9s+4s

    ⇔26=13s

    ⇔s=2

    You have to add 4s on both side which cancels - 4 in - 4s & it makes 9s in to 13s now so the problem looks like this:

    26 = 13s now we divide 13 on both side to cancel the 13 in 13s so the answer is:

    2 = s
