    12≥n+6

    flip: n+6≤12

subtract 6 from both sides: n+6-6≤12-6

    n≤6 is your answer

Treat the ≥ sign as an = sign for the duration of the equation.

Subtract 6 from both sides, and carry down the ≥ sign.

    6 ≥ n

What this means is that any number that is less than or equal to 6 fits in the problem 12 ≥ n + 6
