    Answer is x^2 + 3x - 5 As, f (x) = 3x + 1 And g (x) = x^2 - 6 We have to find (f+g) (x) For that we should know (f+g) (x) = f (x) + g (x) So it will become = (3x + 1) + (x^2 - 6) = 3x + 1 + x^2 - 6 = x^2 + 3x - 5
