    This can be solved by systems of linear equations. This problem asked us to find values for brand A and B. As a rule of thumb, the number of unknowns must equal to the number of independent equations. First equation is A = B + 43billion and the second is A + B = 109billion. Solve these equation simultaneously you should get:

    A=76 billion

    B = 33 billion.
