If f (x) = 2x^2-x-6 and g (x) = x^2-4 find f (x) / g (x)

    F (x) factors out to (2x+3) * (x-2). g (x) factors to (x+2) * (x-2). Since you're dividing f (x) by g (x), the (x-2) factors cancel and you're left with the answer (2x+3) / (x+2).
