    F (x) = - 1/4 (x - 1) ² - 3

    f (x) = - 1/4 (x - 1) (x - 1) - 3

    f (x) = - 1/4 (x² - x - x + 1) - 3

    f (x) = - 1/4 (x² - 2x + 1) - 3

    f (x) = - 1/4 (x²) + 1/4 (-2x) + 1/4 (1) - 3

    f (x) = 1/4x² + 1/2x + 1/4 - 3

    f (x) = 1/4x² + 1/2x - 2 3/4
