Man standing on middle rung of a ladder

He steps up 3 rungs

He climbed down 5 rungs

He stepped up 7 rungs

Then he climbed the remaining 6 rungs

How many rungs did the ladder have?

    So the man is in the middle so draw a horizontal line then draw three dashes up then starting from there draw five dashes down then from there seven up then six up then count all your dashes from above the horizontal line and multiply it by two and then you should get 22. Because every dash above the horizontal line is half the ladder.
