Number of people that went to the skating rink last week = 420

Number of people that went to the skating rink this week = 294

    Then

    Decrease in the number

of people going to the skating rink this week = 420 - 294

    = 126

    Percentage decrease in the number

of people going to the skating rink this week = (126/420) * 100

    = 1260/42

    = 30 percent

So there is 30% decrease in the percentage of people going to the skating rink this week.
