Break expression into groups such as for formula ax^2+bx+c, find u and v such that u*v=a*c and u+v=b. In this problem, next step is (6x^2-3x) + (4x-2). Now factor out 3x from (6x^2-3x) = 3x (2x-1). Now factor out 2 from (4x-2) = 2 (2x-1).

Now you have 3x (2x-1) + 2 (2x-1) so factor out common term of (2x-1). Thus, the final answer is (3x+2) (2x-1).
