I'm going to build it from the bottom up:

    (x+0) (x-1) (x-2) = y

    x (x-1) (x-2) = y

    x[ (x^2) - 3x+2]=y

    (x^3) - (3x^2) + 2x=y

Sorry! It's hard to show equations using a keyboard!
