    1 mile equals 1760 yards

    6 x 1760 = 10560

now the last step is to do 10560-7920=2640 so

Dominics trail will be longer by 2640 feet

The correct answer is Fox trail is longer ... the western trail is only 4.5 miles long while fox trail is 6 that's a one and a half mile difference or in yards it would be 2460
