Simple! To convert a percent to a decimal, all you have to do is divide by 100 (move decimal to the left 2 places). So ...

    30% : 100 =.30

    * Note - I left the answer as. 30 as opposed to dropping the zero because it specifically asked for the answer rounded to the nearest hundredth.

To do this you take 30% then move a dot 2 spots to the left of the percent sign so it would be. 30 and the 3 is a tenth and 0 is a hundredth its already at nearest hundredth so dont round
