Danielle earns a 7.75% commission on everything she sells at the electronics store where she works. She also earns a base salary of $725 per week. How much did she earn last week if she sold $4,800 in electronics merchandise? Round your intermediate calculations and answer to the nearest cent.

    First I'm going to figure out the commission. Which is 4,800x. 0775=372. After you figure that out add it to 725. Which equals 1,099.

    How I found my % number is basically whatever % used which in this case is 7.75% you basically put a zero in the front if it's a number that isn't in the 10s. Then for this I took my whole which was 4,800, I didn't take 725 because that was her per week price and the commission is based off of the electronics merchandise. Then multiplied it by the commission and ended up with 372. Question was asking how much did she earn as a whole so I simply added 725 to 372 and ended up with 1099
