Pete grabbed 18 mixed nuts, 2/9 of which were almonds. which equation shows how to determine the number of almonds pete grabbed?

    First you see how many times the denominator goes into the amount. in this case 9 would go into 18 twice. so then you would multiply the the times it goes into each other by the numerator. in this case that would be 2 multiplied by 2 equaling 4. therefore pete grabbed 4 almonds.
