    8z - 17 + 5z + 37 = 17z - 4

    13z + 20 = 17z - 4

    subtract 13z from both sides

    20 = 4z - 4

    add 4 to both sides

    24 = 4z

    divide by 4 on both sides

    6 = z

    JK = 17 (6) - 4

    The length of JK = 106

    The length of JP = 8 (6) - 17 = 31

    The length of PK = 5 (6) + 37 = 67
