    (3x+79+70+78+70) / 7 > = 72

    (3x + 297) / 7 > = 72

    3x + 297 > = 504

    3x > = 207

    x > = 69

    She must get a 69 or higher to pass with an average of 72 or higher.

    Check your work: 69+69+69+79+70+78+70/7 = 72

    Final exam = 3 times a regular test = 3x

    Average = (3x+79+70+78+70) / 7 (7 being the total number of tests)

    Has to be greater than or equal to 72
