Given the tan (a) = 15/8 find the sin

    Well if they give us tan so that means the triangle is

    b=15, a=8 ... So now we need C

    So use the pythagorean theorem

    8^2 + 15^2 = c^2

    c=17

    So now sin is OPP/HYP so

    sin (a) = 15/17 =.88
