A hospital parking lot charges 2.50 for the first hour, and 1.25 for each additional hour, a weekley pass is 31.00 and allows parking for 7 days. if johnny makes each visit last 2 and half hours, what is the minium number of visits for which buying a pass would be less expensive then paying each time

    2.5+1.25+1.25 = 5.00each visit would cost this much even if he left after 2.5 hours he still must pay for 3 hours.

    31 divided by 5 bucks = 6.2

    So if he parks seven days per week then a weekly pass would be cheaper than paying each time.
