The two lines y = 2x+8 and y = 2x-12 intersect the x axis at P and Q. Work out the distance of PQ? (with explanation)

    Graphing the two lines put 10 units between where the two line cross the x-axis. Solve for x on both equations.

    y=2x+8 x=-4

    y=2x-12 x=6. Then figure the space between them. Which is 10 units.
