First you need to find out what is 1/3 of 48 which is 16

    Then 48-16 which is 32

so now you know there are 32 oranges left

Ben took 8 more then David what do you think answer would be?

David took 12 oranges and Ben took 20 oranges

    12 + 20 = 32 there you go!
