    4x+9+8x+3=180

    12x+12=180

    12x=180-12

    12x=168

    x=168/12

    x=14

    1. Q = 4x+9

    4 (14) + 9

    56+9

    Q = 65

    2. R = 8x+3

    8 (14) + 3

    112+3

    R = 115
