    There is no equals sign. Are we looking for x, or y?

    Either way, with the - 5 exponent outside the parentheses, you can multiply that to each exponent in the fraction to get rid of it.

    I'm not sure what you mean by 2x^12y^3. Is it an exponent within another exponent?
