    First car rental company (F)

    F=0.25x + 160.00

    second car rental company (S)

    S=0.45x + 125.00

    0.25x + 160.00 = 0.45x + 125.00 (set them equal to each other and solve)

    35 = 0.20x

    175 = x

    After 175 miles the prices will be the same.
