    Complementary angles are angles whose sum is equal to 90. so let the x be the complement angle of angle abc

    and y be the angle ABC

    since

    Angle abc is 10 more than its complement

    y = x + 10

    x + x + 10 = 90

    2x = 80

    x = 40

    y = 50
