Ali and Jake went on a cross-country trip. They took a train part of the way, and took a bus the rest of the way. They traveled a total of 1328 kilometers, riding on the train 254 more kilometers than on the bus. let x = kilometers traveled by bus let x = Kilometers traveled by train How many kilometers did they travel by train?

    Let x = Kms by bus

    then x + (x + 254) = 1582

    2x = 1328

    x = 664 by bus

    918 by train
