Int takes chris 30 minutes to walk to work. if he drives it takes him 1/3 of that time. when chris walks to work he leaves at 7:20 to get to work on time. If Chris drives to work, what is the latest time he can leave to get to work on time?

    So, if it takes Chris 30 min walking you divided into 3. 1/3 of 30 min is 10 minutes so, it takes Chris 10 min to get to work driving. He leaves at 7:20 so 20 + 30 = 50 so he gets there at 7:50. 50-10=40 so the latest Chris can leave at is 7:40.
