    A limitation of a model would definitely be the size and scale. For example, a model of the planets would have to be out of scale, even when the model is small because of how far away the planets are. This is a disadvantage because you can't tell the real distance well when looking at the model. And of course, your model planets will be significantly smaller to the real thing.
