A poll of 500 randomly selected voter was recently minister responders rescue approve of president bush's policies relating to the war in Iraq? Suppose that we know that 40% of all registered voters approve the policies. How many voters would you expect to respond yes?

    Take the total number of randomly selected voters, 500, and multiply it by the percentage who approved of his policies, 40%:

    500 x. 40 = 200
