Sam and David were selling bottles to raise money for a 6th grade pizza party. Sam sold 5 water bottles for every three water bottles David sold. together they sold 160 water bottles. how many did each scholar sell?

    I wrote the numbers down for 5 Sam sold and 3 David sold.

    100 Sam sold, and David sold 61, although there's one more ... It's something to start with.
