Philip is going on a 4,000-mile road trip with three friends. The car consumes 12 gallons of gas per 400 miles, and gas costs $2.50 per gallon. It'll will cost Philip and his friends $300 total for gas. If Philip and his friends want to split the cost of gas evenly, how much should they each pay?

    Well in this question there is lots of unnecessary information. u only need to know as total they need to pay300. then there're 4people in total in the trip, 300/4=75
