Use the distributive property to expand - 6 (3x-7)

    To expand this equation, simply multiply what's outside of the parenthesis to what's in.

    -6 times 3x is now - 18x

    -6 times - 7 is now 42

    (Watch our for the subtracting sign, if it has a minus in front of it, include that!)

    Put those two together and you get - 18x+42!
