    Let x = the smaller angle

    then 2x + 6 = the larger angle

    Since they are comlementary, then their sum is 90°

    smaller angle + larger angle = 90°

    (x) + (2x+6) = 90

    3x + 6 = 90

    3x = 84

    x = 28 (this is the smaller angle)

    the larger angle is 2x + 6 = 2 (28) + 6 = 56 + 6 = 62

    Answer: smaller angle is 28, larger angle is 62
