    General Idea:

To multiply numbers with decimals, we need to multiply the numbers just as you do whole numbers. Then add up the number of decimal places, and move the decimal that number of spaces to the the left in the product.

    Applying the concept:

Here given we have two factors out of which one is whole number which multiplied with another number gives result as 34.44, a number which have two decimal places.

Using the concept, the whole number has 0 numbers after decimal place, if and only if the other number multiplied has 2 numbers after decimal place, we will end up getting 0 + 2 = 2 numbers after the decimal place in the answer.

    Conclusion:

The least number or decimal places in the other factor is TWO
