A water tank in a form of a cuboid of height 22cm, length 7cm and width 5cm is filled with water. The water is then poured into a cylindrical container of diameter 14cm. Calculator the height of the water in the cylindrical container. [ Take π = 22/7]

    l = 7

    b = 5

    volume of cuboid = lbh

    = 22x7x5

    =770 cm3

    r = 7

    770 = pi r^{2} h

    770 = 22/7 x 49 x h

    770 = 22 x 7 x h

    110 = 22 x h

    h = 5 cm
