    Note that 5y = - 2x + 8 is identical to 2x - 5y = 8.

    The graphs of these two equations overlap, and thus your system of equations has infinitely many solutions.

    2x - 5y = 8 (1)

    5y = - 2x + 8 (2)

    re-write equation 2

    5y = - 2x + 8

    2x + 5y = 8

    so Now both equations are the same

    Answer: infinite many solutions
