A and B are mutually exclusive events. P (A) = 0.60 and P (B) = 0.20. What is P (A or B) ?

    As they are mutually exclusive events so

    P (A) = 0.60

    P (B) = 0.20

    p (A or B) = P (A) + P (B)

    = 0.60 + 0.20

    = 0.80
