What is the equation of the axis of symmetry of y = 2x^2 + 4x - 3

    Hello:

    h (x) = 2x² - 4x - 3 = 2 (x²-2x) - 3 = 2 ((x-1) ²-1) - 3

    h (x) = 2 (x-1) ²-5 ... (vertex form)

    the axis of symmetry is the line of equation : x=1
