    She had $106.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    2 (x+26) = 264

    Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

    2 (x+26) = 264

    (2) (x) + (2) (26) = 264 (Distribute)

    2x+52=264

    Step 2: Subtract 52 from both sides.

    2x+52-52=264-52

    2x=212

    Step 3: Divide both sides by 2.

    2x/2=212/2

    x=106
