    Note how 136 is 160 - 24, 112 is 136 - 24, and so on. This is an arithmetic sequence with first value 160 and common difference - 24.

    88 less 24 is 64;

    64 less 24 is 40; and

    40 les 24 is 16.

    Thus, the sequence is 160, 136, 112, 88, 64, 40, 16.

    160 - 136 = 24

    136 - 24 = 112

    112 - 24 = 88

    The pattern is - 24 for each continuing number
