A water tank in the shape of a rectangular prism is 11 feet deep the top of the water tank has an area of 220 square ft what is the volume in cubic ft of the water tank

    Volume = B · h where B is the area of the base.

    In this problem, the top is actually the base (this might be confusing but think about this ... if you turned the tank upside-down, the top would become the bottom)

    Volume = 220 x 11

    Volume = 2420

    Answer: 2420 ft³
